Indian actor Raveena Tandon was honoured with the Padma Shri for her contributions to the arts and her philanthropic work. The award was presented to her by President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on April 5. Tandon champions various social causes and was the first person from the entertainment industry to be selected as a delegate for the Women’s Empowerment Engagement Wing at the G20 Summit.
