A pair of rare Apple sneakers that were originally made for Apple Inc’s employees in the 1990s have been listed on Sotheby’s website for auction at a price of ₹41 lakh. These unique shoes were never made available to the public as they were custom-made for Apple Inc’s staff and were gifted to them at a national sales conference in the mid-1990s. Named ‘Omega Sports Apple Computer Sneakers’, these sneakers bear Apple’s old rainbow logo on the side and tongue. They are white and are made of rubber, leather and cotton. Due to their historical significance and uniqueness, these one-of-a-kind sneakers are fancied by collectors.
