Ram Charan Named ‘Ambassador for Indian Art and Culture’ 

Indian actor Ram Charan has scripted history by becoming the first Indian to be bestowed with the title of ‘Ambassador for Indian Art and Culture’ at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM).

Indian actor Ram Charan has scripted history by becoming the first Indian to be bestowed with the title of ‘Ambassador for Indian Art and Culture’ at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). Charan has received this honour in recognition of his outstanding work in the Indian film industry. The IFFM is an annual festival hosted by the state government of Victoria, Australia, that reflects and celebrates the diversity of the Indian film industry. This event will be held from August 15 to 25 in Australia. Ram Charan has worked in numerous Telugu movies such as ‘Dhruva’, ‘Chirutha’ and ‘RRR’. RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the ‘Best Original Song’ award at the 95th Academy Awards in 2023 and gained popularity globally. 39-year-old Charan will also serve as the guest of honour at IFFM.
