Ragi Oat Idlis

This healthy breakfast recipe is loaded with protein and fibre. Try these idlis with your favourite chutneys.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup ragi rawa 
  • ½ cup oat flour 
  • 1 cup curd 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Water as required 
  • A pinch of fruit salt 

METHOD

  • In a bowl, add the ragi rawa, oat flour and curd and mix them well. 
  • Add salt and a little water to adjust the batter’s consistency. Let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes. 
  • Add the fruit salt to the mixture and mix well. 
  • Grease an idli mould and pour the batter into each cavity of the mould. 
  • Place the mould in the idli stand and steam for 10 to 12 minutes. 
  • Your ragi oat idlis are ready to eat. Serve them with your favourite chutney.
