10-year-old Quinn Young from Inverness, a city in the Scottish Highlands, has become one of the youngest people to conquer all 282 Munros in Scotland. Quinn began to climb when she was just four years old. She had climbed 100 Munros by August 2021 and wanted to finish them all before she finished primary school.
The Munros are 282 Scottish peaks that are all above 3,000ft tall. They have been named after Sir Hugh Munro, who was the founder of the Scottish Mountaineering Club and was given the task of listing all of the country’s hills of 3,000ft and more.
Do some research online and list the names and locations of any 10 mountains in India that are above 3,000ft.
