With the help of information gathered over many years, scientists have discovered coral reefs in different countries that can bounce back from the impacts of climate change. According to scientists, coral reefs are threatened due to rising ocean temperatures, which also affects the life they support. However, scientists have now found approximately 1,66,000 sq kms of coral reefs across numerous countries and regions, including the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, that are resilient and can survive climate change related damage. Researchers have urged governments to utilise information from this study to preserve these biodiversity hotspots.
