37-year-old Pratibha Krishnaiah from Bengaluru, Karnataka, quit her eight-year-old corporate job to help people in rural India. She has moved to Khetikhan village in Uttarakhand and has transformed the lives of women in a remote mountain village through her NGO, Himalayan Blooms. Krishnaiah has helped almost 200 women in 40 villages earn lakhs of rupees from their hobby of knitting. She aims to give women a platform that will help the world understand the importance of employing women in today’s time.
