Prasar Bharati, the public service broadcaster of the Indian government, has planned to introduce its own over-the-top (OTT) platform in August. The platform aims to air family-friendly content that promotes good values. The content aired on the platform will be based on Indian culture and Indian society and will be free for the first few years. Along with entertainment, the platform will air shows covering current affairs and content from numerous well-known content providers, such as television producers Sri Adhikari Brothers, filmmaker Vipul Shah and actor Kabir Bedi.
