Parag Agarwal, CEO of Twitter, was removed from his post after Elon Musk took over the company. Agarwal took over as Twitter CEO in November 2021, after co-founder Jack Dorsey resigned. Agarwal is an Indian-American software engineer who obtained his degree in computer science and engineering from IIT Bombay. Agarwal went on to study at Stanford University, USA. As CEO, Agrawal was paid $1 million a year as well as given stock compensation worth $12.5 million. Twitter’s CFO Ned Segal was also removed from his post after Musk took over Twitter.
