MATERIALS
- Grey chart paper
- White chart paper
- Black pen
- Scissors
- Glue
- Straw
METHOD
- Cut 2 equal triangles out of a 24-centimetre square of grey chart paper.
- Fold the tips of the triangles as shown in the picture.
- Stick a straw over the folded tip of 1 triangle as shown in the picture.
- Cut a 5-centimetre-long thick strip of grey chart paper for the trunk and stick it over the straw.
- Stick the other triangle on top as shown.
- Fold the corners of the triangles to create the ears.
- Draw 2 eyes on white chart paper, cut them out and stick them on the triangle.
- Cut tusks from the white chart paper and stick them next to the trunk as shown.
- Draw lines on the trunk.
- Turn the elephant upside down and with the help of a pen or a pencil, roll the trunk as shown.
- Blow air through the straw to see the trunk unroll.
- Your elephant is ready!
