An online system to track the availability, supply and distribution of medicines in hospitals run by the government is expected to be launched in Kerala shortly. Hospitals will update the system with data on the medicines in stock each day. They can also notify Kerala Medical Services Corporation (KMSCL) of the availability or shortage of any specific medicine through the system. The information will help KMSCL ensure efficient procurement and distribution of life-saving medicines across government-run hospitals in Kerala without any delay.
