If there is one thing,
That has little confusion,
That is the types of people,
With a New-Year Resolution.
The first type,
The most enthu,
Whose resolutions,
Rarely come true.
Majority of students,
To their mother’s sorrow,
Bank their studious resolutions,
On the hope of tomorrow.
The second type,
Go on a resolution spree,
Their cars come to a halt,
On resolution day three.
The exercise ritual,
Quite hyped,
For day three the gym card,
Is yet to be swiped,
The third type,
As rare as the divine,
Do their resolutions,
Time to time.
Their schedule,
Organized and neat,
Need resolutions,
Very much the least.
There is a striving in my heart,
A deep indication,
To finally keep,
No New-Year resolution.
