The first registered vehicle scrapping facility of Tata Motors was launched in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Called Re.Wi.Re – Recycle with Respect, the facility can scrap 15,000 vehicles per year and was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, the union minister of road transport and highways, Government of India. The facility uses eco-friendly procedures for the safe dismantling of end-of-life commercial and passenger vehicles.
