- A new amusement park inspired by Disneyland is set to be established in Navi Mumbai. This park, covering 200 hectares, will be built by the Maharashtra government along with Niti Aayog.
- The project’s cost is expected to be between $6 billion and $7 billion and it will comprise a variety of recreational facilities including animation studios, entertainment areas, water parks and resorts.
- The park is expected to enhance Mumbai’s economy by generating employment opportunities and increasing tourism.
- The large-scale project will be built close to the Navi Mumbai International Airport and several other industries including hospitality will experience growth due to it.
