Murder on the Orient Express is a work of detective fiction by the world-famous author, Agatha Christie. I recommend this book to detective and crime fiction lovers. This is honestly the best of Agatha Christie’s works. The book may get confusing at times and it may be difficult to understand what the author is referring to, but overall the great work of detective fiction and thriller mystery keeps the reader curious after every chapter.
The story is somewhat like this:
Just after midnight, the famous Orient Express has stopped on it’s tracks due to a snowdrift. A passenger lies dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, door locked from the inside.
Isolated inside the train, with a killer in the midst, detective Hercule Poirot must identify the prime suspects from an impatient array of foreign passengers, before the murderer decides to strike again.
Ultimately the plot has a linear direction yet no guesses can be made of who the murderer is! The characters, storyline, and plot are so interesting that one cannot put the book aside.
