India’s Ministry of Education recently launched ‘Jaadui Pitara’, which comprises learning and teaching materials such as puppets, storybooks, flashcards and puzzles for students aged three to eight years. The Jaadui Pitara has been developed under the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and aims at making learning more joyful and innovative, catering to the needs of learners at the foundational stage. It is available in 13 languages. According to Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan, the toy-based learning kit will arouse children’s curiosity and enhance their understanding of concepts.
