American multinational technology company Microsoft has appointed Carolina Dybeck Happe as the company’s executive vice president and chief operations officer. In her new position, Dybeck Happe will be part of the company’s senior leadership team (SLT) and will work towards enhancing the artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives of the company. Previously, Dybeck Happe was associated with General Electric (GE) as senior vice president and chief financial officer and contributed significantly towards enhancing the financial performance of the company. She has also been associated with well-known companies such as Assa Abloy and AP Moller-Maersk during her career. In her new position, Dybeck Happe will report to Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s Indian-origin chief executive officer.
