Catia Lattouf from Mexico City in Mexico has been looking after dozens of young, injured and ill hummingbirds in her apartment. Lattouf converted her apartment into a clinic for hummingbirds around a decade ago. She initially nursed a hummingbird with an eye injury and eventually started accommodating more birds. The 73-year-old nurses the birds till they are capable of flying and fending for themselves in the wild. She has tended to hundreds of hummingbirds over the past 10 years and has become well known for her services.
