Paan Con Tomato

This must-try Spanish tomato bread is made with simple everyday ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 slices of bread  (preferably white or light brown) 
  • 2 cloves of garlic, peeled 
  • 2 tomatoes, grated 
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 
  • Salt to taste 
  • Chives to garnish  (optional) 

METHOD

  • Put the grated tomatoes in a small bowl, add the olive oil and salt and mix. 
  • Toast the slices of bread until light brown. 
  • Rub the garlic over the toasted slices of bread. 
  • Take some grated tomato and spread it over the toasted bread. 
  • Garnish with chives and serve.
