- A new scheme called Ladka Bhau Yojana, which aims to provide work experience and a monthly stipend to young men in Maharashtra, has been launched by Maharashtra’s chief minister Eknath Shinde.
- Under this initiative, men between the ages of 18 and 35 can avail of apprenticeship opportunities in non-industrial and industrial firms with operations in Maharashtra.
- Candidates who have passed class 12, diploma holders and degree holders are eligible under the Ladka Bhau Yojana and will earn monthly stipends of ₹6,000, ₹8,000 and ₹10,000, respectively.
- Through this initiative, the Maharashtra government aims to link employers with job hunters. This scheme aims to tackle unemployment and provide industries with a trained workforce.
