A soft robot known as a Reconfigurable Magnetic Slime Robot has been created by researchers at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. This robot is made of slime and contains magnetic particles that can be manipulated with the use of external forces. These magnetic particles have been covered in a layer of silicon to enable them a safe entry into the human body. When inside the body, the soft robot will be used to grab objects and thus will be used to collect accidentally swallowed objects in the future.
