An air-conditioned executive lounge has been established by the Southern Railway at the Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MG Ramachandran Central Railway Station in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The lounge is equipped with airport-like facilities and is situated in the main concourse close to platform 6. The amenities provided to passengers include Wi-Fi, recliners, sleeping pods, free tea or coffee and a dining area with various food options. The lounge has a capacity of 180 passengers and the entry fee is ₹200 for one hour.
