Construction work for the largest 3D-printed building in Europe began in March. It is being constructed in Germany’s Heidelberg and will house a data centre. The building will have a wavy façade resembling a curtain and will be 9mts tall, 54mts long and 11mts wide. The project will be completed in approximately 140 hours. According to Kraus Gruppe, the project’s developer, the concrete used for the construction of the building is 100% recycled and is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 55%.
