St Joseph’s High School, Wadala, Mumbai, celebrated its annual festival called ‘Josephite Festival’ marking the school’s 106th year. The festival was hosted from December 7 to December 9, 2023, and saw the participation of over 7,000 students from across Mumbai. There were more than 70 events held over three days including competitions such as mono acting, ethical hacking, singing, T-shirt painting, fancy dress and clay modelling. Fr Blaise Fernandes, the school’s principal, highlighted the importance of education in an individual’s life and explained how the festival promotes holistic education in his speech at the event. Former students and students’ parents volunteered to organise the event along with school staff.
