In order to transform India’s water supply sector, a technological platform called the Jal Jeevan Mission Digital Academy was established by the Indian government’s Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation and ECHO India, a non-profit organisation. Union Minister of Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat inaugurated the online portal, which will provide training to communities involved in water supply programmes. Participants such as sanitation workers, engineers and technicians can access various knowledge-sharing sessions on the portal.
