- India has gifted the Maldives government, helmed by Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu, with Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita and Maitri (BHISHM) cubes during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Maldives for the celebration of its 60th Independence Day.
- These portable cubes are equipped with medical instruments, medicines and other products that can be used during disaster relief operations.
- They can be set up easily and can be conveniently transported from one place to another. Part of the Aarogya Maitri Project, these cubes aim to provide support and medical facilities during emergencies.
