

American technology company Microsoft Corporation has appointed an engineer of Indian origin named Jay Parikh to lead CoreAI-Platform and Tools, the company’s new engineering unit.
American technology company Microsoft Corporation has appointed an engineer of Indian origin named Jay Parikh to lead CoreAI-Platform and Tools, the company’s new engineering unit. Parikh will leverage his vast expertise to head the new division, which will focus on crafting artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for customers as well as for Microsoft. Parikh, who became part of Microsoft in October 2024, will report to Microsoft’s chief executive officer (CEO), Satya Nadella. He possesses significant expertise in handling large engineering initiatives. Prior to working with Microsoft, he was associated with Meta, previously called Facebook, from 2009 to 2021 and held the position of CEO at Lacework.
