Author Prem Rawat created a Guinness World Record at a multiple-author book reading that took place in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, on March 2. The author, along with Vipul Rikhi, another Indian author, set the record for the highest attendance at a multiple-author book reading. The event was attended by 1,33,234 people. This outdid the record set in the year 2000 by two authors from Canada and British author JK Rowling, who had attracted an audience of 20,264 to their event. The books authored by Rawat include ‘Breath: Wake Up to Life’ and ‘Hear Yourself: How to Find Peace in a Noisy World’. He had also previously set records for the highest number of attendees at a lecture and the most attendees at a single-author book reading event.
