The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HDMA) is set to open a walk-through aviary in Kothwalguda Eco-hill Park. The aviary is expected to be the world’s largest walk-through aviary and will welcome visitors by March 2024. The aviary will house around 5,000 birds of various species. A chain-link mesh will cover the aviary, enabling visitors to see the birds up-close in their habitat and learn about them. The aviary will be a significant part of the Kothwalguda Eco-hill Park. The eco-park is expected to have numerous facilities including restaurants, a butterfly garden, an aquarium and gazebos.
