A human resource manager acts as a link between an employee and an organisation. A human resource manager performs various functions including hiring new employees, training employees, ensuring employees’ safety and satisfaction and designing programmes to improve employees’ performance.

To be a human resource manager one must complete:

  • Class 12 in any stream
  • 3-year bachelor’s degree in business administration (BBA) in human resource management
  • 2-year master’s degree in business administration (MBA) in human resource management

Career Options:
A human resource manager can work in a company, a government organisation, an educational institution or a recruitment or headhunting firm.
Job Roles:
Human resource generalist, recruitment consultant, talent acquisition manager, learning and development manager or human resource analyst.
