

Most writers–especially first-time ones–are under the impression that when they finish writing their story their work is done. When I wrote the final word of my first manuscript (‘Lakshadweep Adventure’), I was ecstatic, thrilled that I was done. All my hard work was over, so I believed, and my book was ready to shoot off to publishing houses. But I soon discovered that this was as far from the truth as Mars is from Earth.
