The Haryana government is set to launch a project worth ₹10,000 crore that will help counter air pollution.
Called the Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development, this project will be funded by the World Bank and is expected to be carried out in phases.
The project, which is a 10-year initiative, will be executed in the districts of the National Capital Region (NCR) initially and will gradually be implemented across Haryana.
The project will include enhancing the facilities of laboratories to enable more efficient air quality tracking, promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs), setting up biodiversity parks and checking vehicle health to combat pollution.
