Indian model Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021 in an event held in Eilat, Israel. She was previously crowned Miss Diva Universe 2021. She is the third entrant from India to win the Miss Universe crown after Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000. Sandhu is a Chandigarh-based model who has also worked in a few Punjabi films. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in public administration from the Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Chandigarh.
