Halloween!

That time of the year is coming around,
Come on, tip-toe, don’t make a sound,
With jack-o-lanterns everywhere,
And scary scarecrows giving a scare,
We welcome one of the most loved seasons,
For not one or two but many reasons!
Trick or treating is the best,
That’s the only time we get candy with zest.
Haunted houses give everyone a jump,
With spiders and skeletons in a lump,
We all dress up in creepy styles,
Look! There’s a vampire and oh! a witch with black eyes!
We decorate our houses with lights and care,
And give our friends the good old Halloween dare,
We share spooky stories around the fire,
And eat candies to our hearts desire!
It’s that time of the year, you see,
So watch out for ghosts, take it from me!
