The Guru Kripa Yatra Tourist Train, which is part of the Bharat Gaurav series of tourist trains launched by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), started from Lucknow on April 5. The initiative has been undertaken by the Ministry of Railways to promote India’s religious and cultural heritage. The Guru Kripa Yatra Tourist Train takes devotees on an 11-day/ 10-night all-inclusive tour covering many holy Sikh shrines across India, including the five holy takhts. The train has a capacity of 678 passengers.
