Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Seva Teerth and Kartavya Bhavan 1 and 2 on February 13, highlighting a transformation in the construction of Indian government structures.
Seva Teerth now houses the Cabinet Secretariat, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the National Security Council Secretariat, allowing the three bodies to function in the same facility.
Kartavya Bhavan 1 and 2 houses the Ministry of Education and many other important ministries.
The facilities include several modern amenities and eco-friendly features, such as systems to manage waste. Officials believe shifting these facilities from their original location aligns with the country’s Viksit Bharat vision.
