Government Buildings Inaugurated

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Seva Teerth and Kartavya Bhavan 1 and 2 on February 13, highlighting a transformation in the construction of Indian government structures.
• Seva Teerth now houses the Cabinet Secretariat, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the National Security Council Secretariat, allowing the three bodies to function in the same facility.
• Kartavya Bhavan 1 and 2 houses the Ministry of Education and many other important ministries.
• The facilities include several modern amenities and eco-friendly features, such as systems to manage waste. Officials believe shifting these facilities from their original location aligns with the country’s Viksit Bharat vision.
