We had fun in the rain,
Our umbrellas flew away,
We spun around and around,
Until we were off the ground.
We were filled with such interest,
While our parents were on Pinterest !
We sang
“Rain rain go away
Come again another day
Little critters want to play
Rain rain go away “
But the rain did not betray.
Frogs croaked,
We were soaked.
My friend found a pet,
Who was wet.
We played until the sun set –
Cyclone Fengal turned out alright I bet .
