For the first time, scientists have found a rocky exoplanet that is approximately the size of the Earth with the help of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) James Webb Space Telescope. Named LHS 475 b, this exoplanet possesses a diameter that is 99% that of the Earth.
It is located in a constellation called Octans, at a distance of 41 light years from Earth. It is hotter than Earth by a few degrees and is likely to be similar to Venus.
