A pair of shoes worn by well-known American singer Elvis Presley in the 1950s was auctioned for around ₹1.2 crore in Devizes, UK. The shoes, which feature blue suede, were one of the singer’s most iconic possessions and were donned by him during many of his performances. According to Henry Aldridge & Son, the auction house that sold the shoes, Presley had gifted the shoes to a friend before he joined the US Army in 1958. The shoes, which are sized 10.5 and feature the ‘Nunn-Bush’ brand stamp, were sold to a collector from California, USA.
