Educational parks will be set up on government school campuses in Punjab in order to boost students’ creativity. The parks will house discussion forums, idea-sharing points and an idea box to collect and make a note of students’ ideas after conducting discussions. According to Punjab’s School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, the models developed in these parks will be curriculum-based and will enhance students’ understanding of various subjects with the help of hands-on activities. Government schools have been provided with `11.79 crore to implement the plan.
