Listen up, folks, to what I say,
Before our world decays away.
Peace ain’t just some distant star,
It’s the only fight that’ll get us far.
Remember the horrors of World War I,
Where bodies burned beneath the sun?
And World War II, with its gruesome tale,
Leaving scars that’ll forever prevail.
Look at Russia and Ukraine’s strife,
Leaving families shattered, lifeless life.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki’s deadly rain,
Turned cities into eternal pain.
Even the tale of cats and the monkey,
Fails to shake leaders who act all funky.
They fight for power, they fight for gain,
While peace lies there, ignored, in vain.
But heed this tale, it’s not just old lore,
It mirrors our world, more and more.
Nations squabble over scraps of land,
Draining their strength, like grains of sand.
So wake up, people, can’t you see?
Peace ain’t weakness, it sets us free.
It’s louder, bolder, than any gun,
And it’s time we chose it, every one.
Though it seems like an impossible feat,
We can’t let our dreams face defeat.
So I ask you, citizens, one last time,
Will you make this world a peaceful clime?
