The British Society for Nanomedicine has conferred the title of ‘Champion’ on Dr Aadarsh Mishra, an alumnus of the University of Oxford, UK, to recognise his remarkable work in the sphere of nanomedicine. The 27-year-old has many academic achievements to his credit. He was recognised by the India Book of Records as the ‘undergraduate with most research papers published’ as he had 23 research papers published in international journals by the age of 19. Mishra, who graduated from Lucknow’s St Francis College, is among the youngest Indian Fellows of the Royal Astronomical Society. His work involves the study of the characteristics of agarose hydrogels and their ability to mimic soft tissues.
