The world’s deepest hotel, known as Deep Sleep Hotel, located 1,375ft below the surface of the Earth commenced operations in April. The hotel is situated underneath the mountains of Snowdonia in Wales, UK. Guests who want to stay here have to travel through an abandoned slate mine to reach it. Deep Sleep Hotel comprises a grotto and rooms with beds. At the beginning of the stay, guests are assigned a trip guide who takes them on a walk into the mountains. Towards the end of the walk, the guests are equipped with lights, helmets and boots so that they can descend into the huge, dark mine that leads to the unique hotel.
