To raise awareness among children about cybercrimes and to promote a safe digital environment, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all schools affiliated with it to form cyber clubs. The goal of setting up cyber clubs is to improve students’ knowledge about cyber threats and equip them with important skills that will help them in the future. For this initiative, each school will nominate a teacher with expertise in the field of cyber security as the cyber nodal officer. Schools will receive cyber safety tips and information through the cyber nodal officer. The cyber clubs will organise a variety of activities including plays on cyber fraud, cyber quizzes and lectures on cyber security and will educate students on potential careers in the field of cyber security.
