A new ₹225.09 crore scheme that aims to computerise agricultural and rural development banks (ARDBs) across 13 Indian states has been introduced by the Indian government. Registrars of cooperatives of all Indian states and union territories will also be computerised under this scheme. There will be a central project monitoring unit set up to ensure the smooth implementation of this initiative. With the implementation of this scheme, people will be able to avail of the services provided by ARDBs and state cooperative departments with ease. Additionally, it will ensure that these organisations operate uniformly and efficiently.
