To enhance practical education, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has planned to set up composite skill labs in schools affiliated with it all across India. Based on the directive, schools affiliated to the board are required to establish these labs within a period of three years while schools looking to be affiliated to the board have to set up these labs on a compulsory basis. These labs will include all the tools required to boost hands-on learning among students from classes 6 to 12. The initiative aims to increase students’ career options in the future.
