India and Thailand decided to bolster their partnership in the defence domain during the 10th Defence Dialogue that was conducted in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 16. Co-chaired by Satyajit Mohanty, joint secretary in India’s Ministry of Defence, and Admiral Nuttapol Diewvanich, Thailand’s deputy permanent secretary for defence, the meeting included talks around collaboration in the maritime sector, innovation in defence and strengthening defence manufacturing. The meeting also involved discussions on training exchanges between the countries and security matters relating to the Indo-Pacific region.
