Class 8 Student Creates Mental Math Record

Aaryan Shukla, a class 8 student at Delhi Public School, Nashik, has been recognised by the Guinness World Records for mentally adding 50 five-digit numbers in record time. Aaryan set this record in 25.19 seconds on an Italian television programme called ‘Lo Show Sei Record’ in Italy. Aryan, who began practising mental math operations at six years of age, has participated in many international competitions. He won awards at the 2022 Mental Calculation World Cup in Germany and the Memorial Turkey Open Championship-2018 in Turkey.
