Class 6 Boy Cycles 175kms in Three Days 

Siddhanth Adhavan, a class 6 student at Navadisha Montessori School, Chennai, recently participated in an annual international cycling tour of Cambodia organised by a cycling group called Cycling Yogis. During this tour, Siddhanth cycled a distance of 175kms in three days, visiting famous sites in Cambodia such as Bakong, Tonle Sap Lake, Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei. On the second day of the tour, he braved hot and dry conditions and completed 80kms of cycling, which is the longest distance covered by him in a single day. Among the 36 members who participated in the tour, Siddhanth stood out as the only child cyclist. Siddhanth began long-distance cycling at the age of 8 and his interest in the sport has been fuelled by his mother, an endurance cyclist.
