Yan Hongsen, an 11-year-old Chinese boy, has gained popularity over the internet for his profound knowledge in the field of rocket science. Yan developed an interest in astronomy and science when he was just four years old after attending a rocket launch. He received assistance from his parents and began learning physics, chemistry and programming languages by himself through courses online. He launched a homemade rocket in 2023, however, it encountered a malfunction. Yan is working towards launching his second rocket and has written a 600-line code for it. He has been sharing his work in rocket science via social media.
